The Sisi ticket: what the Sisi Pass is

If you search for a "Sisi ticket" for Schönbrunn, you are looking for the Sisi Pass. It combines three sights about Empress Elisabeth: the Palace Ticket for Schönbrunn, the Sisi Museum with the Imperial Apartments in the Hofburg, and the Furniture Museum Vienna with its exhibition "Sis(s)i in film".

The pass costs €60 for adults and €38 for children aged 6 to 18 (prices valid 1 July to 2 November 2026). With the Vienna City Card it costs €51. The operator quotes a saving of about 25 percent for adults compared with buying the parts separately. The pass is valid for one year from the date of issue. Children under 6 enter free. It is not a public transport ticket.

Only the palace part has a fixed date and time. At the other two sites you do not need a reservation.

Check the Sisi Museum before you buy

The museum part of the Sisi Museum in the Hofburg is closed until its reopening on 19 November 2026.

Until 18 November 2026 the Hofburg site runs with reduced prices and changed hours, daily from 10:00 am to 4:30 pm with last entry at 4:00 pm. Because the Sisi Pass is valid for one year, the Hofburg visit can wait until after the reopening. If you travel before 19 November, ask what the Hofburg part includes on your date, or consider the Palace Ticket alone. Prices at the Hofburg change from 19 November, and the new prices had not been published in mid-October. You can read more on our Hofburg page.

Imperial Tour, Grand Tour and old prices

Many guides still use names and prices from earlier years.

"Imperial Tour"

The palace no longer sells a ticket under this name. Several travel guides equate it with today's State Apartments. The operator has not confirmed this match.

"Grand Tour"

The name survives only as an addition to the Palace Ticket on the official ticket page. Guides usually mean the Palace Ticket with all main-floor rooms.

Old prices of €28 and €38

Earlier price lists showed €28 for the State Apartments and €38 for the Palace Ticket. From 1 July 2026 the adult prices are €30 and €42. The Classic Pass at €44 in some guides is now €49.

"Gold Pass"

Schönbrunn has no ticket with this name. The name belongs to the Belvedere. See our Belvedere page.

How to choose and where to buy

A short decision guide.

Short on time

Take the State Apartments for about 40 minutes. Take the Palace Ticket if you want the private rooms of Franz Joseph and Elisabeth, about 75 minutes.

Palace plus gardens

The Classic Pass costs €7 more than the Palace Ticket and adds four garden attractions. Plan three to four hours. See the gardens guide.

A full day with the zoo

The Classic Pass Plus adds the zoo and two glasshouses. The operator quotes a saving of at least 15 percent, the zoo quotes about 20 percent. See the zoo guide.

Fan of Sisi

Choose the Sisi Pass. It is the only ticket that includes the Hofburg and the Furniture Museum.

Official shop only

The palace operator warns about fake ticket websites. Real tickets are sold in its own online shop and at the ticket desks. The palace works with fixed entry times. Book your slot in advance.

Winter after 2 November

All prices above end on 2 November 2026. Winter prices from 3 November had not been published by mid-October. Check the shop before you travel.
